Keywords are seen everywhere

Keywords are seen everywhere. They are in ads, and articles like this one. One of the most important aspects of internet marketing, and SEO is to have relevant, and beneficial content.

Keywords are the meat of articles. They give them taste, and zing. They also show up in many search engines. As in, they are what drive the search engine spiders to find your article, or website. So its good to keep a lookout for various keywords to add to your list, hopefully you keep one because unless you can memorize 20+ keywords(sometimes phrases), then in all honesty your probably doomed.

What are keywords?

They are phrases usually, sometimes words, they distinguish an article in the search engine. Usually they describe your article or message you are trying to portray. Example is like the title of this article, Internet Marketing. Search engines look for this to determine what kind of article or website that it is so that when people use the search engines they get accurate information.

Choosing Keywords

There are various ways to obtain relevant keywords that relate to your website, or article. But the first step is to choose. Figure out the message you are trying to get to people and determine a relevant keyword. Example, Car Tires wouldn't work well in this article, so search engines are less likely to recognize my article, so relevancy carries some weight.

Getting Keywords

So now that you have a broad keyword like internet marketing go to google's keyword tool. Then type in internet marketing. When the keyword tool searches it will produce results that are usually more detailed like internet marketing for beginners, or internet marketing as a career. Make a list of some keywords that you feel fits your article/website category.

Using Keywords

Using the keywords appropriately to get traffic is essential. The best place to put a keyword is in the headline. Then use the keyword(s) in the article but limit it from 1% to 3% density because otherwise the search engines might mark it as spam and not put it in their search pages, or even worse you''ll get banned.

Conclusion

Keywords can be very influential in your articles and/or website. But use them in consistency. There are many places that you can use as a resource to find keywords, I personally use the information on the website in the about the author section. But this is among the many others that you can use to your advantage.
