eBay offers masses of goods at much reduced prices; Amazon can get you any book you want and make it available for immediate download, or provide free shipping; YouTube allows you to watch online videos for free.the list goes on. When you create a website you must ask yourself: "what value do I create for my customers and leads?" Simply offering to sell a product to a prospect is no longer enough. It is not like the real world where a walk or drive to an alternative store is inconvenient online customers can take a quick click away from your store and be at another in the blink of an eye. The value you create at your site is what keeps them there. If you have a marketing campaign involving email or sales letters, there must be value in the content of the sales/marketing letter that causes your prospect to actually make the effort and click through to your site - or at least download something that gives them the opportunity to do so later. Creating value is a very creative process; the more ways you can think of to give your customers something they want for free, or at a discount, the better. Unique marketing campaigns based on an often intangible value that is perceived by the customer are often extremely successful in increasing sales. Buy-one-get-one-free, 10% discount, free eBook.
