Marketing with morality

In today's market with all the doubts occurred, joint with the persistent mentality of "what's in it for me", most of the people all over the world losses their trust in businesses and organizations. To guarantee a large customer base the marketing strategies increased by most protagonist, in which are no longer relevant. For others, long-term success will be created by operating from integrity and respect for others.

There are businesses that are crumbling from within. We've seen CEO's have been under arrest and organization have been into accounts of scam and illegal insiders trading. Deception may occur in an organization that reveals and expose the companies' core of dysfunction and levels. These things show the power of greed, and because of this, competition and lack of integrity has occurred in companies. What are things we can learn from this?

Sadly, in today's management what is dominating is what we call "ego- driven" leadership. Most people don't actually know that those ego-driven leaders are dealing from insecurity and fear, as well as those at the top. Those leaders may think that they are powerful but the truth is there not. They actually put border on the potential of the employees.

It is the desire of a leader to create wealth and power, with the expense of others, ultimately, schemes, does not work as the recent fiasco illustrates. Leaders who are working this "artificial power" will never attain a lifelong success.

In order to market with integrity one should incorporate the following steps:

1. Listen and create opportunities for your employees

2. Treat employees with honesty and respect.

3. Make decisions that benefit all those people not just on top.

4. Provide training for marketing, communications, management and most of all customer service.

5. Make commitments to employees, customers and prospects; and keeping them.

6. Know the real source of self-esteem, and take charge to untie them.

7. Find out the self ambitious managers that could deplete the limit of creativity.

8. Look for a way to diminish the cliques, gossip, and personal agendas.

9. Show to your employees that you're open for some new ideas, and that you're willing to make changes.

10. Allow your employees at all levels to show their potentials.

Marketing with a high moral well always start at each individual by honoring themselves and others. But the money and time that you invested will surely comes back in triple. As what Mother Teresa have said, the greatest disease is not any physical ailment, but rather the feeling of being unwanted, uncared for meaningless reason.
