Marlabs to host Microsoft Competency Development Program - ReImagine
Bangalore, October 11, 2011: Marlabs, a leading provider of innovative Information Technology services, announced today that its Microsoft Center of Excellence (CoE) is conducting a workshop on emerging Microsoft technologies on the 13th of October 2011 at its Bangalore premises. Titled ReImagine, the internalworkshop will focus on updating participantson the latest developments in Microsoft technologies includingMicrosoft Cloud Services (Azure), Windows 8 Runtime (WinRT) and Windows Phone 7.1 (Mango) Development. The workshops will also cover emerging web technologies including HTML5 and new age JavaScript frameworks.
The event will showcase Marlabs' continued focus and thought leadership on expanding its Microsoft competency in Microsofts Cloud offerings, and emerging user experience platforms that are synced with the cloud. The company is focusing on building connected ecosystems on top of the cloud. It has developed a scalable data virtualization system for federating data from multiple sources, transforming the data, providing a security layer, and exposing the same as consumable REST services to enable enterprises to have a single point of investment for building services for enterprise mobility. It is now focusing on building user experiences on top of this service stack.
Marlabs has successfully implemented features like dynamic provisioning and private-public application syncing, notably for some of its customers in the telecom domain where the transaction volume is often large, says Anoop Madhusudanan, Practice Lead, Microsoft Technologies, Marlabs. Leveraging this experience, we have developed a re-usable Data virtualization platform + WOA service container named Matrix on top of the cloud that enables organizations to develop and deploy services easily, to expose their business logic to a large number of devices.
As the next step, Marlabs is focusing on building synchronization services across cloud and web/mobile applications. The upcoming release of Windows 8 will see increased offering from Microsoft for tablets and touch devices, and this event is a boots trapper for the same.
We are focusing on the Cloud and building a solid service stack on top of the same, enabling customers to build connected applications leveraging our service container. As part of this effort, we are focusing on building new age user experiences on top of these cloud services, says Anil Raghavan, Chief Delivery Officer, Marlabs. The inaugural session will be delivered by Vijay Raj, a Microsoft MVP in Application Setup/Deployment. This will be followed by technical sessions and presentations from Marlabs Microsoft CoE members and Microsoft MVPs.
