If your spouse is becoming more and more absent within the marriage, this could be a sign of a marriage crisis. Jealousy between you and your spouse wont work, it will only make the boat tip causing the marriage sooner than you think. Be creative, make your bedroom a place of a thousand delights and you are the genie who came out from the lamp. Remember if you feel so comfortable in the presence of your spouse at home, it does not make any difference if the two of you have not actually gone out on the town because you have had your romantic bonding time together at home already therefore this may not be a sign that your marriage is about to end. If your spouse loves you, they will honor your requests no matter how weird it may be. If your spouse stays on one side of the bed while sleeping and intimacy has become a forgotten item on your agenda then this is a red big flag that your marriage is falling apart. Move, act or be resourceful in discovering new ways to reignite the flame that has died within your marriage.

Accepting that your marriage is coming to an end does not mean that you agree with your spouse's reasons to end the marriage. If you make a hasty decision you may look back later and wish that you had acted differently. For example:it is like writing an article for a magazine. Should you decide to give up, then there is nothing more. They are the impulsive reactions of people who do not take time to think and assess their situations.

The spouse will be embarrassed to tell family and friends about the breakup. You will rely on time because it is a great healer. Anger is the emotion that follows because the person cannot find any reason why the spouse is getting away from relationship. You will find only one path from divorce to a happy union.

Changes in both you will give a better chance for your relationship to survive. Let your spouse lay their cards on the table and tell you their side of the story. You both have to understand why your spouse cheated so you can solve the underlying reason for his behavior.

Emotionally or physically abusing abuse a spouse will bring the day closer to disaster, when he/she will decide that enough is enough. Learn to listen more not only with your ears but also with your heart. It does not matter who is right or wrong when you argue. Jealousy, the green-eyed monster, is like a harmful pest in marriage and a sure way of driving your spouse away. When the spouse leaves his home, it does not mean that marriage is over, it simply means that you have to work harder at it to get back happiness, Do not try to convince your partner that his decision to end the marriage won't work. Disillusionment grows when expectations are unfulfilled. Respect the privacy of your spouse.

At least once a week, go on a date to energize your relationship. Things will not work out by themselves, you have to take a hand. Your kids will raise their own families and you are retired. Make the initiative to be intimate with your spouse by getting rid of any distractions, holding hands, cuddling, watching the sun rise, listening with your heart and sharing your feelings. When you appreciate yourself, the feeling will contaminate your husband and he will feel the same way too. You will be conditioning his mind on his next move.

It is a herculean task requiring both spouses to participate. The result of disagreements depends on how both spouses are able to handle conflicts between them.
