Maruti Kizashi Out On January 2011

It is expected that the much anticipated car model Maruti Kizashi is going to be released in the Indian market by the end of January 2011

. This sedan is supposed to enter the Indian auto market a year earlier but then it is set to hit the roads in January 2011. It is being referred to as the elder sibling of the Maruti SX4 because of the looks that it is sporting. The latest addition to Maruti"s stable is going to compete with the already ruling sedans in the Indian auto market like the Toyota Corolla Altis, Chevrolet Cruze, Honda Civic and Skoda Laura. It is also speculated that the Maruti Kizashi is going to bear the Rs 10 lakh or plus price tag.

The Maruti Kizashi is the very first car that is bearing the high price tag from Maruti"s stable. The company has been receiving negative remarks about this especially on the basis of the car"s comfort features but the new launch of premium sedan and it is going to prove the critics wrong.

Maruti Kizashi is going to be equipped with varied features and the best of technological features as it is bracing to capture the Indian car market. The sedan is also going to be affixed with 2.4 liter petro engine which is going to generate 185 bhp at the maximum torque of 230 Nm. The car is loaded with a powerful engine that will provide efficient and greater mileage. It will also come with an array of features such as the following: the electrically powered with three spokes steering wheel includes audio control, spacious interiors, the latest audio controls, AC vents and much more. The Maruti car company has also placed a price for the Maruti Kizashi to get the maximum benefit out of the new sedan.

According to sources from the industry, Maruti Kizashi is going to be priced below Honda Civic. It is learned as well that Maruti Kizashi is expected to be assembled in the company"s manufacturing unit in the Manesar production facility in Harnaya. Maruti is already a prominent name in the mass segment and now, it is venturing in the luxury segment. The rivals of the company have already geared up and the Indian auto sector is looking and awaiting at a new revolution from the Indian auto giants stables.

Currently, Maruti is still on top of the game when it comes to the domestic auto sector according from the records of two consecutive months. It is recorded that they were able to record a sales of more than 1 lakh units which happened for the first time in India. It seems that Maruti wishes to maintain such dominance in the Indian car market.
