You also have the 1.3L DDiS diesel engine that delivers 75 PS of power. Both of its versions are mated with a 5 Speed Gearbox Transmission System. The diesel variant has a torque of 190Nm@2000rpm.

With all goodies Swift 2011 will vie with Volkswagen Polo, Ford Fiesta, Skoda Fabia, Nissan Micra, Tata Indica Vista, Chevrolet Beat, Hyundai i20 and recently launched Toyota Etios Liva. Maruti Swift is well known for its performance and class fuel efficiency.

The new Maruti Swift is now available in six versions and will come in a vibrant metallic color range. They include Metallic Garnet Orange, Metallic Ozone Blue, Solid Bright Red, Metallic Iridium Gold, Metallic Midnight Black, Pearl Metallic Arctic White, and Metallic Azure Grey.
