In India Maruti's biggest competitor is Hyundai motors.they are also in this race they put their I 10 in this race and give Maruti tough compition .After a huge success of I 10 they lounched i20 .they lounched i20 in both fuel consumption petrol and diesel.Maruti swift the only car which gives big competition to their rivals .spare parts of swift are cheeper compare to hyundai i10 and maintenance of Maruti cars going cheeper then others. Maruti sets their new product. Ritz in this market in both fuels but they fail to get attraction of Indian market.In India fiat also launched his own products linea and punto with these diesel engine .Tata also launched his Indica with these diesel engine .in interior of India people preferred to buy Indica against any other prducts because of Tata .Tata sell his cars cheeper then others.but performance of suspension of Indica is poor .swift is more comfortable car then others .cabin space is very good in swift.now Maruti lunches new shape of Maruti swift in 2011 .but after lounching swift new shape Maruti phases problems in their manaser plant with labor. Their production goes down by 80% .their is deadlock continues from the last 20 days .new shape of swift is more dynamic compare to previous one.this shape of Maruti swift keep Maruti ahead then others.

Maruti suzuki introduce alto with the version of 1100cc against santro and matiz but very soon maruti realise that this car fill the range which is between m800 and alto 1100 and they started alto in 800cc capacity with low budget . which is supporting to his m800 and fill the blank of 2lac to 3lac bracket because Maruti wants to capture the market which is in this range they sell their wagon r in the range of 3.25 lac but they are having m800in the range of 2lac so they launch alto which is in the range starts from 2.68lac to 3.41 lac.
