Trade has flourished tremendously over the years in this area. The goods are imported from a place in Manali called Rohtang Pass and sold at reasonable prices.

As far as the climatic conditions are concerned, October to March is the coldest months of the year in this region. Heavy snowfall is experienced in this area in these months. Summer, which is the best time of the year to visit this place, spans from April to September.
