Mass Article Control Review-is It Really Worth It?
As most of you probably know, I'm big on article marketing
. As a matter of fact, it's my main method of making affiliate commissions. I usually write and submit 10-15 articles every single day. After doing that for a long enough period of time, it gets tiring. Take it from someone who knows.
One of the products I have been actively promoting for sometime is an article software package called Mass Article Control. I'm not in the habit of "blindly" promoting Clickbank products - that is, promoting products that I don't own and have a working knowledge about.
Mass Article Control was 1 of the 2 products that I was doing that with. It's not that I wanted to do that, it's just that I didn't have the $77 to shell out for the software at the moment. As my affiliate sales have been increasing, I've decided to invest some of it back into the business. As a result, I picked up a copy of MAC last week.
Initially, I was a little confused, having never used this type of software before. However, there are some step-by-step tutorial videos that come with the software, and after watching them I was on my way to pumping out tons of articles.
The way it works is simple. You get two pieces of software; an article creator, and a submitter. I'm sure I don't have to explain to you what those are. They're easy to download and install, and that process only took 10-15 minutes.
I decided to try out the creator first. After getting through the tutorial, I plugged in a 450 word article I had written in the "get your ex back" niche. There is a little work involved here, you can't just click and create a new article. This is not a spinner. That's what it makes it so great, however.
The main function of the creator is to take your article and turn it into numerous other "unique" articles. How this works is by substituting chosen words and phrases with synonyms. The creator already comes with a huge library of synonyms built in, and you can add and save your own as well. You simply highlight the words you want to change, select some synonyms, and presto! The creator does the rest. You can even change whole sentences and phrases to make the article even more unique.
As time goes by, the process gets easier because the creator saves the synonyms that you add in it's library. Again, it wasn't extremely quick. It took me about 10 minutes to rewrite a 450 word article. But here's the advantage: The creator doesn't just give you one different article, it gives you several. With the few changes I made, the creator spit out 12 completely different articles, and they all made perfect sense! This is great if you want to submit a unique article to each directory.
That's where the article submitter comes in. This tool is absolutely fantastic and is very simple to use. You can submit your articles to 20 different directories that are all pre-programmed into the submitter. You only have to enter your user name and password once, and it's saved forever. You just copy and paste your article, and a click later, you have effectively submitted it to all of the popular directories. What could be easier?
The only problem I encountered was with Ezine Articles. I believe that was an error on their part. They don't like article software and may have instituted some kind of block in their system. I couldn't seem to get my article submitted there. No big deal, however, because I like to submit and get my article appproved there before submitting to the other directories. That might not be the case for everyone, however.
So, the question remains. Is it worth $77? In my opinion, absolutely. There is no doubt in my mind that the time this software is going to save me is going to allow me to submit hundreds, if not thousands of more articles than before. This is obviously going to result in a huge increase in backlinks, traffic, and sales.
If you are a newbie, it's probably not a good idea. You need to get your feet wet first and see if you are actually going to stick with it before dropping $77 on software you may never use. If you are a serious internet marketer, however, I can't see how you could be without it.
I think this is a good review because it's coming from someone wgho actually owns and uses the software. As many of you may know, I'm not a big believe in reviewing products that I don't own. So, in my opinion, I'm giving Mass Article Control 4 out of 5 stars. Why not 5/5? Well, the fact that you have to plug in a lot of your own synonyms and the difficulty with Ezine Articles means it's not perfect. But who is? However, it's damn close!
