. The story is rather striking and mysterious. There is an opinion that Alfred Nobels wife betrayed her husband with a mathematician. Still, historians claim that Alfred Noble had never been married. But, this is not the focus of our article. Math Clubs are the activities which help students develop their knowledge and improve some skills. Here are some specific features of math clubs.

Math clubs peculiarity

1.Math clubs are created for students with advanced knowledge of mathematics. Students with general knowledge are not allowed there.

2.Math clubs are considered to be specialized ones. Not each student is going to be interested in the activities there.

3.The members of math clubs solve very complicated tasks. Sometimes, those tasks are difficult for University students saying nothing of average students.

4.There are various competitions among the members of different math clubs. It is significant that when one wins local competition, he/she is sent to state one. The next stage is the international math competition where the best students of the world take part.

5.Furthermore, math clubs help students collaborate with each other. Mathematics is not the only topic for discussion in math clubs. Music, movies, books, relations and other topics may be the center of students interests.

6.It is striking that math clubs may be divided according to sex sign. Some clubs allow only male or female students be the members. Still, in most cases, students are mixed in math clubs.

In conclusion, we would like to notice that such extracurricular activities as mathematics positively influence student thinking. Furthermore, involved students do not have time to think about drugs and alcohol. It is the core feature of student clubs.
