The Royal Lahaina Resort

The Royal Lahaina Resort & Lahaina Hotel features a 27-acre resort set on Kaanapali Beach. In the past, the area served as an exclusive resort for only the richest and most powerful people, but now its easily accessed by the general public.

The moment you set foot at the resort, you will realize you are not visiting just any resort. The beach on which it is situated, Kaanapali Beach, has been voted Americas Best Beach in the past. You and your family are sure to have an unforgettable time at this resort, no matter what you choose to do.

Diving

What would Hawaii be without a diving guide? There are countless places you can have a memorable experience diving. Honolua Bay is located at the north end of Honoapiilani Highway 30. You can dive here any time of the year, but the best time to go is in the morning and during spring, summer, and fall. Youll have the opportunity to see an amazing reef, teeming with fish.

Another Maui diving location you might choose to experience is Makuleia Slaughter House Bay. Even though the name is somewhat intimidating, it works well for beginning and intermediate divers. It also is located at the north end of Honoapiilani Highway 30. Here too you can find a moderate amount of marine wildlife and a colorful reef. If you have an interest in body surfing, this location may be of greater interest.

Water Sports

If youre not familiar with Maui water sports, keep in mind you can try surfing, windsurfing, or even kitesurfing. Whether you are visiting West Maui, the North Shore, South Maui, or East Maui, there are more locations available than you can manage to visit in one trip. Some of the more popular locations include Flemming, Baldwin Beach, La Perouse Bay, and Hamoa Beach.
