Arnot of Pardubice (d. 30 June 1364 in Raudnitz) was the first Archbishop of Prague. He was also an advisor and diplomat to Emperor Charles IV.

Ernst inherited the town of Pardubice in 1340. He became the bishop of Prague on 14 January 1343 and was commissioned the first Archbishop of Prague on 30 April 1344. He ordered the monks to contribute to the newly founded Charles University (14th century), hence enhancing the quality of the education in the institution.

Brbeuf was born in Cond-sur-Vire, Normandy, France, . He was the uncle of the poet Georges de Brbeuf. He studied near home at Caen He became a Jesuit in 1617, joining the Order. He was almost expelled from the Society because he contracted tuberculosisan illness which prevented both studying and teaching for the traditional periods.

Joachim-Napolon Murat (d. 13 October 1815), Marshal of France and Grand Admiral or Admiral of France, 1st Prince Murat, was Grand Duke of Berg from 1806 to 1808 and King of Naples from 1808 to 1815. He received his titles in part by being the brother-in-law of Napoleon Bonaparte, through marriage to Napoleon's youngest sister, Caroline Bonaparte. He was noted as a flamboyant dresser and was known as 'the Dandy King'.

Spencer Charters (d. 25 January 1943) was an American film actor. He appeared in over 220 films between 1920 and 1943.

He was born in Duncannon, Pennsylvania, and died in Hollywood, California by suicide, from a mix of sleeping pills and carbon monoxide poisoning.

His first stage work soon after leaving school was a walk on part but it wasn't long before he was being given fair-sized roles. He spent 22 years on the Broadway stage.

Andrew "Andy" Clyde (d. May 18, 1967) was a Scottish movie and TV actor whose career spanned more than four decades. He broke into silent films in 1925 as a Mack Sennett comic. Clyde came from a family that had been prominently identified with the theatre for generations; his brother David Clyde and sister Jean Clyde also became screen actors.

John Paton Laurie (d. 23 June 1980) was a Scottish actor born in Dumfries, Scotland. He is probably most recognisable for his role as Private James Frazer, the gaunt-faced, intense, pessimistic undertaker and Home Guard soldier in the popular BBC sitcom Dad's Army from 1968 to 1977. When the plot resulted in the characters being left in some perceived peril, Frazer would spin a tale about people in similar situations coming to a bad end, finishing "We're doomed, I tell ye!", delivered in his Scottish burr.

Gittel Enoyce "Binnie" Barnes (d. 27 July 1998), later known as Gertrude Maude Barnes, was an English actress.

She was born in Islington to a Jewish father and an Italian mother and was raised Jewish. She worked on a farm and in hospital as a probationer. She then became a ballroom dancer and Tex McLeod's stage partner. Later she was in cabaret and revue.

She began her acting career in films in 1923, first in Britain then later in Hollywood and continued until 1973 (her final role was in the comedy 40 Carats). Her most famous film was probably The Private Life of Henry VIII, which starred Charles Laughton in the title role, with Barnes as Katherine Howard.

She was married to film producer Mike Frankovich, for whom she converted to Roman Catholicism and became an American citizen. They adopted three children.

She died of natural causes at the age of 95 in Beverly Hills, California, in 1998, survived by her three children, including production manager Mike Frankovich J. and producer Peter Frankovich. Her interment was in Glendale's Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
