Before decorating, choose the tip you want to use and attach it to the pastry bag. Put the icing mixture in the pastry bag and seal the top cover. When applying icing on the cake, be sure to properly hold the bag with steady pressure. This will ensure that the icing will come out in even shapes. Take a pause after every squeeze of icing. Whenever you stop, try to lift the pastry bag tip away from the cake. Continue until you havefully decorated the whole cake.

With the right tools, determination and some patience, creating unique and memorable cakes can be a fun and fullfilling activity.
