One rule of thumb is to avoid monotonous colors. Shirts, pants and ties do not always have to be in the same hue or color. A little variation never hurts, and the trick is to learn how to mix, match and combine colors, patterns and styles. Not only that, but men can also experiment with different fabrics and tiny details in shirts, pants and ties such as buttons, stitching, cut and placement of pockets and collars, among others. Imagine how many different hundred styles are possible out of such choices! In fact, men can do many things in coming up with interesting outfits and wardrobe for every occasion.
To look smart, men must pay attention to the tailoring and the fit of the shirt, suit and pants. There is no need to purchase expensive brand like Hugo Boss. Its all about having the grace, poise and confidence to wear any shirt, suit and pants with any style. Comfort should be the number one priority when purchasing clothes. To save money, an eye for detail and mixing and matching styles in finding that perfect outfit for the right occasion.
When mixing combos, one rule of thumb is to complement and to contrast. For example, dark and black shirts go well with a light colored tie. To add impact, wear a dark shirt or suit and complement it with a quality necktie in a contrasting color. For instance, a navy blue suit can work with a burgundy red tie.
