Men's Dress Shirts Are Not To Be Underestimated

The days of quickly running into a store and grabbing a dress shirt off the rack seems to be a thing of the past

. There is much more consideration being given now to the plain dress shirt. Although it should not be considered as plain. Many of the things that are to be considered in the dress shirt are as follows.

Dress shirt colors is important A this is usually one of the first things that are considered when choosing a shirt. They range from the neutral colors of the whites, blacks and browns to the pastels shades now which are becoming quite the trend. Then one shouldn't forget the vibrant colors such as the bright reds and blues. Then of course there are the autumn colors of the burnt orange and greens.

Once the color has been decided on then the next decision making comes down to the fabric. The days of being just a cotton shirt are no longer, when there are so many that are available now with newer types materials. For example, there is still the standard 100% cotton dress shirt that has been the favorite of many, but now there is also the cotton blends. Then there is something more on the casual line such as the broad cloth. The type of material is important in comparison to the time of year that it is being worn and in addition to this to the type of event. For example, the cotton would be more appropriate for business attire where the broad cloth would work quite nicely for casual wear.

Then the next choice is the type of dress shirt when it comes to picking out a specific type of collar. This has to be considered, and then there is a wide variety of cuffs as well. Then there's the decision making whether to go with or without pockets and the type of fasteners whether they are buttons or domes for example.

Then of course the next decision that comes along is how to decide which style. Does one want to go with the cheap type dress shirt or is a quality dress shirt in order. Then one has to decide on is it going to be stripes, checkered, or plain. Sizing is also going to be very important as well whether one wants to decide on a slim fit or a more tapered type shirt. Or whether it is more enjoyable to wear a loose fit. Either one of these is available in dress shirts so it's a matter of just making a choice. Sizing of the shirt is very important as far as being comfortable. Then the decision has to be made whether it is going to be short sleeved or long sleeved. Again the event that the shirt is going to be worn to will dictate this. When it comes to seams in shirts there are also many to select from as well. Of course there is the various season shirts that are dictated by the color and the material and then followed by the style. Then there are formal shirts, and even going beyond that the wedding type shirt which has a lot more features to it.

Aside from having to make all these decisions when it comes to picking out the perfect shirt for the individual, and for the occasion as well cost factors have to be considered. That doesn't mean that one cannot go out and buy great dress shirts that are on sale which is the perfect way of shopping. What it does mean though is that the bargain basement dress shirts just don't fit into the high fashion trends and give the well rounded business look that is expected from the various types of shirts on the market for men.
