The tournament started in Mumbai today at Bombay Presidency Golf Club. The qualifier round will be held in eight other cities such as Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Delhi, Coimbatore, Chennai and Bangalore. Since 1989, the Mercedes-Benz Golf Tournament has been promoting amateur golf and since then its has seen an increased number of participation from 50 countries which includes as many as 50,000 players every year. This tournament is one of the most reputable Golf tournament and every golfer holds his dream to win the world final, held at Stuttgart in Germany in the home ground of Mercedes-Benz. The tournament is an opportunity for the golfers to meet the best in the sport from all over the world. The response to the Mercedes-Benz from India has been overwhelming which has forced the auto giants to introduce the qualifier rounds in the sub continent. The winner will be lucky as he or she will be awarded with Mercedes-Benz SLK.
