Mercedes Cl65 Amg Sporting Even More Horsepower

Believe it or not, Mercedes has found a way to add a little more zip to the already-powerful CL65 AMG

. This 12-cylinder machine is even more impressive in its new form and Bergen County NJ C-Class dealers look forward to sharing it with customers.

The newly-introduced CL AMG can achieve 621 horsepower from a six-liter bi-turbo V12 engine which is 17 more than the current model. What does that mean for drivers of this powerful car? Well, the CL65 AMG makes the jump from zero to 60 mph in only 4.2 seconds. It tops out at 186 mph because the electronic system limits speed at that point.

Mercedes didn't tell us how fast we could go without the electronic babysitter. (Although I'm not sure, for a street-legal car, why the speed limitation would be 186 mph instead of, say 86 mph. I don't want to meet you on the road doing 186!) Bergen County NJ used GL customers with a need for speed with head to the showroom when this model shows up.

But the point is Mercedes was able to achieve this super speed and power. The German automaker claims a change in the exhaust gas turbochargers allows for more power. Who are we to argue? It's a beautiful thing.

Not only does the adaptation provide more power, but it actually saves fuel, although we don't yet have the figures on how much savings owners will see. This engine also cuts carbon emissions by 3.5 percent from the current model. Bergen County NJ C-Class owners should consider vehicles which cut carbon emissions as this can have a huge local environmental impact, especially in cities with air quality issues.

Buyers can also choose the CL63 AMG which still has 563 horsepower and an amazing 27 percent less fuel use. With this engine carbon emissions are reduced by 30 percent! And the power and speed are little affected, as it can still top 60 mph in under 4.5 seconds. That's probably fast enough for most of us.

Bergen County NJ used GL dealers are excited about this new model and are confident it will bring more customers into the showroom. No word on when it will be there, though, so we'll just have to wait patiently. In the meantime . . .

Mercedes-Benz does have several new models arriving in the showroom soon and most of them have significant fuel economy improvements.
