Mercedes-AMG GmbH has launched its Mercedes Benz SLS AMG in New Delhi

. Mercedes Benz India is now planning to begin marketing it in the country. The newly launched car will attract a 110 per cent import duty and will cost above Rs. 2 crore. The customers and other admirers have shown an overwhelming reponse for the car. Mercedes-Benz India has already given an indication for around 10 confirmed bookings for this car until June 2010.

Mr. Ola Kaellenius, the global CEO of Mercedes-AMG GmbH said that India has now joined the elite ranks of the first few RHD markets globally to launch this mean machine. He also said that that the car has got a strong demand. The new SLS AMG has attracted people from all over the world through its impressive and stylish design, intelligent construction and handling dynamics. The car launch was awaited in India since a while now and the event certainly turned out to be a moment of joy for one and all.
