The GS 450h is a very smooth driver, which is a great quality to have in a luxury automobile. It sure makes some of the other vehicles offered at Somerset used car locations look a little bit silly.

She ain't a cheap car. The price really isn't for the faint of heart. Weighing in at a solid $57,425 base price, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Lexus loses some money on this, even as Mercer County Lexus dealers end up selling a load of them. Still, if Lexus can gain some customers with a single model that it loses money on, it's worth it in the end. It's sure to bring other luxury drivers out of the woodwork and checking out more of Lexus' lineup. It's about winning more customers in a highly competitive luxury market in the long run. Somerset used car dealers have seen Lexus sales going up over the past few years, so I expect we'll continue to see this with the addition of the GS 450h.

The car's 3.5 liter V6, coupled to a continuously variable transmission, is enough to give the GS 450h the oomph that it needs. I'm glad to see that Lexus has bounced back so quickly from recalls both by its own brand and by parent brand Toyota. With a release like this, it really gives you some faith that the brand will one day show up in a place of prominence among automotive enthusiasts everywhere.
