Meribel Ski Expedition's Have Plenty Of Action

An adventure holiday spent in magnificent France is one spent full on with sporting

A free shuttle bus to Allues from Meribel is offered for those concerned with religious traditions. A mass is held at six pm every night and the shuttle runs on a quarter hourly basis. It ends at seven fifteen, so more nighttime events can be planned for afterwards. Live music or a resident DJ can fulfill the eagerness of youth until the early hours at any of the pubs situated in the Valley.

Races are happening all over the ski slopes during winter. Especially men's slalom, which draws a huge crowd as the speed and skill of the competitors are the focus for spectators and judges watching from the safety of the sideline. The proficiency of the skiers, both amateur and professional is a kick to observe. Boardercross snowboarding or cross-country skiing are organized at any of the numerous remote sections specially cordoned off for the exercise.

Safety in the snowfields is a priority of the French government, so the resorts are a well planned and physically capable of entertaining all sorts of winter sporting activities. Separate areas are allotted for snowboarding, tobogganing and the different levels of skiing. Events are scheduled and appropriate measures are taken to factor in safety issues, like special fencing to protect spectators during the event.

The Meribel Ski slopes offer people everything they could ever dream of wanting at a ski resort. Healthy retreats, vibrant pubs and dinning facilities, skiing, tobogganing, no one can improve on what is already perfect. In every season, Meribel has something special that would suit families, ski professionals, amateur racers and spectators.
