Eat only quality natural foods, high in protein, moderate in good fats, and moderate in good carbohydrates. And eat these foods throughout the day -- six small meals minimum.

Exercise using both cardiovascular exercise and weight training, start slow and ramp up.

Get into a regular sleeping pattern each and every night.

Regulate alcohol intake and reduce stress with deep breathing and long stretches.

Even starting ever so just slightly down this healthful path to balance will begin to make the most lethargic and metabolically changed person start to feel, well...alive, stronger, awake, aware, vital, yet with a distinct calmness and serenity.


Unfortunately, the reality is that most of us are not living within nature's balance -- our hormones (thyroid, adrenal) are not within a healthy range, we are insulin resistant (through lack of activity and poor diet), our sleep habits have reached insanity status, we may sometimes drink too much alcohol, our stress levels are sky high, and our energy is obviously negligible.
