When trading is limited to the day, i.e. if the order for a stock is not extended after market closes, it is termed as day trading. There are certain Indian stocks that may be considered good for a particular period of time, say 30 days to or 60 days. Such stocks are generally categorized under short term trading'. There is also the limit order wherein buying and selling takes pace until the value reaches a certain point.
