Coyoacan is a beautiful location in the city that feels like an oasis from the hectic city experience. Cobblestone streets and lush gardens characterize this location, making it the perfect place for a picnic lunch or afternoon siesta.

Mexico City is also a place where the old and the new coexist beautifully. Not only do you have all a modern city has to offer, ancient history can be explored by visiting the Pyramids of Teotihuacan. It is always a good idea to do some research before you travel because it is much more enjoyable and enriching if you know a little bit about what you are looking at. These pyramids are covered with ancient carvings known as sand hieroglyphics and reveal a long since vanished powerful civilization which is revealed at the Temple of the Sun and the Temple of the Moon. Another temple, the Temple of the Plumed Serpent, will take your breath away and provide an experience that you will certainly want to share when you get back home.
