Mexican cuisine is popular around the world, with corn, beans, cheese and spices being the main ingredients. It is the land of tortillas, tamales and not to forget, tequila. Street vendors dishing out tacos, quesadillas, tortas are seen almost everywhere. It is a popular and cheaper option of lunching though hygiene issues could cause problems to the tourist. Chocolate is believed to have originated here and is still an important part of Mexican cuisine.

The country has a lot of adventure sports opportunities to offer the tourists. Surfing, snorkeling, kayaking, and, the most popular whale watching to name a few. Watching the giant humpbacks and grey whales to name a few is a visual treat and a once in a lifetime experience.

The currency is Peso and while shopping for souvenirs, bargaining is the rule of the game. Mexican hats to varied handcrafted colorful works of art are available almost everywhere. So, a little bit of Spanish and a ticket on one of the cheap flights to Mexico should make it a memorable holiday.
