Micromax Andro A60 is the first Smartphone who is running on Android platform. Micromax is diverting from the average with mobiles like the Modu T & the Micromax Andro A60 at least in term of its form factors. The Micromax Andro A60 is a unique looking phone that embodies very funky, young design. It is not a typical candy bar form factor nor is like HTC Smartphone. The five way navigation pad with call up and End keys on both side of handset, in addition to the sensitive touch keys below the screen, makes navigation easy and simple. A micro USB 2.0 port is placed at the bottom of charging and Personal Computer connectivity while zoom/volume keys are placed at the side of the cell phone with 3.5mm hands free socket at top of the handset.A microSD card slot is placed on 1 side under the back panel. Micromax has a 2.8' resistive touchscreen with 240x320 pixels screen resolution which can be bit painful when comes to hitting keys on the corners or edge. It has sensitive keys below the screen and really simple for navigation. Micromax Andro is equipped CPU with 600MHz processor & runs Android OS, v2.1 Eclair which makes it simple to use & relatively smooth to touch and operate. The User Interface is not customized that you found in Spice Mi-300 or Videocon Zeus. A few features include 3.2 MP camera with 2048x1536 pixel resolution, 107x59x14mm Dimensions with 262 K number of screen colors, alphanumeric keypad and very instinctive handwriting recognition option. Other features include Charger, USB Cable, Headset, SMS, MMS, Email, Accelerometer, 150 megabyte, 256 megabyte RAM and 512MB ROM internal storage memory, Bluetooth, 2G and 3G networks. The Andro A60 also seemed to have a problem with card slot microSD.
