The design of the tablet is very stunning and has a wide touchscreen which doesnt have any physical keys. It has physical keys at the left and right edges for volume and sleep mode. The tablet doesnt have a primary camera but it has a front facing VGA camera for video calling. The device also lacks the SIM card slot for network connections. It is 3G enabled and supports 3G network via USB dongle. The tablet is developed mainly for the education and entertainment purpose. So, it lacks other features like GPS and Bluetooth. The tablet also supports Wi-Fi for Internet access over it. It comes with the Android v4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system which is yet not known to be upgradeable or not. The device has a internal storage of 8 GB with a microSD card slot for external storage by which external storage can be expanded upto 32 GB. It has a microUSB v2.0 and HDMI port support for connecting other devices. It detects the screen orientation with its Accelerometer sensor. The tablet comes with pre loaded apps like facebook, twitter, gmail, and many new educational apps. It has a big LI-ion 5600 mAh battery support because of its bigger display. The battery backup of the tablet is still not known.

Micromax Funbook Pro price in the Indian market are kept very affordable for the consumers. The tablet is available at a competitive price tag of Rs 9, 750. The tablet has its main competition with the Karbonn Smart Tab 1.0 which is also available in the same price range. The company has many hopes with this tablet and will be launching many new devices in the coming days.
