Microsoft SQL Server is a system software adopted to develop web database applications

In Window Only mode server is accessible through an integrated login process of accounts. It is most recommended mode but, not practical for various infrastructure. Whereas, the Window and SQL Server connects Window accounts and created accounts to the server.

Store SQL Server backup files in a secure location and encrypted

Restict access to the SQL Server to only trusted clients

Regularly scan the installation with Microsoft's Baseline Security Analyzer

Disable all netlibs if the SQL Server is local-only

Use Windows Only authentication where possible
