Microsoft Will Optimize Win8's Chaotic Metro Interface

For some users' complaints about Windows 8's Metro interface

Microsoft's Windows Live group's president Steven Sinofsky on Tuesday acknowledged in the official blog that Microsoft did receive some customers complaint that they not like he new Metro interface. But Sinofsky also pointed out that this is the the natural reaction of the users when the interface changes. At the same time, Microsoft said it will assess the user's feedback. Some of the users' feedback is critical for Microsoft to improve the Metro interface

Some users said the new Metro interface is the chaos of some icons, having no advantage compared with the traditional start menu. There are users said the current Metro lists all applications according to the alphabetical order. This is simply unreasonable. They almost do not know the name of the programs.

In this regard, the analyst said the efficiency of the traditional start menu is not high. There was indeed need for reform. But Microsoft is developing a new application screen, which will mimic the current "All Programs" menu.
