He is 26-1 career as a starter, and looks to add 14 more wins to his resume this season.

Colin Kapernick of Nevada, from the WAC conference, is perhaps the biggest dual-threat in the mid majors. Kapernick threw for 20 touchdowns, and ran for another 16. He topped 1,000 yards on the ground, and accounted for another 2,000 threw the air. Kapernick is the focal point of the Nevada offense, and rightfully so. He was the first person in NCAA history to post back to back seasons topping the yardage markers passing and running. Third time is the charm for Kapernick, who is close to becoming Nevada's all time leading passer, as well as nearing third on the rushing list.
