Mina Among Islams Most Sacred Sites

This act represents the pilgrimage of Prophet Abraham, when the devil appeared thrice. It is the epitome of faith and loyalty to their religion, as the pilgrims pledge their allegiance to God and Islam.

Mina has come to be known as the tent city, as Muslim pilgrims from all over the world spend their days in the city in neatly laid out tents here. It is an experience where people have to rough it out, but they are provided with all the basic necessities. What is great about the tent city is that followers of Islam from all over the world come here together, and despite being from different nations they are able to mingle as those with the same beliefs and religious loyalties. It is not only an important site for Islam but a great place to visit as well.
