There is a free $10K scholarship drawing at Freecollegescholarships. You have to be at least eighteen years old or older and be a U.S. resident to be eligible to register for this scholarship offer. To enter their giveaway, you simply need to fill out their easy registration form. There is a deadline for the scholarship drawing so remember to register as soon as possible.

Another opportunity you may qualify for is the scholarship offered by the Walton Family Foundation. Students who are eligible for this scholarship can win $3000 in scholarship money. You need to be able to demonstrate financial need and also have at least a 2.5 grade point average based on a 4.0 scale.

The Alliance for Young Writers and Artists also provides another scholarship opportunity. Humor, journalism, and dramatic script are some works in writing that you need to submit to apply. The application process is composed of writing samples that you send in for review.
