The college paper should take in an attention-catching opening paragraph, and a well-organized main body and a good closing paragraph. 4.Attempting too hard to be prominent - Creative essays breaking away from the standard are encouraged when you know what you are doing. Using a funny anecdote can make it much more pleasing to read, and so you would stand out from other competitors. Though, you shouldn't overdo this. In case the question is blithe, don't become Robin Williams. In case the paper question solicits a very serious reply, you need to avoid inserting humor altogether. 5.Making it a version of your CV - You don't have to list your educational accomplishments; the college knows about them. Typically, your college essay should highlight your personal characteristics such as leadership skills, curiosity, motivation, and capability to avoid adversity that show you would make a good student at their college.
