Mixing Music No Longer Limited To Professionals

Remember the time you listened through one entire album of music and

, after selecting another album and listened your way through it, started to think about how awesome it would be to mix the two? Well, if this describes any moment in your personal history, then mixing music is something you have gained an interest in! This used to be something that only recording studios could accomplish, but with the invention of the internet and many other technological breakthroughs, we are actually able to start doing the things that the professionals stated only a few decades earlier that "only" they could do. This includes many things, not just mixing music! I mean, have you ever truly considered the distinct privilege it is to be alive during this segment of human history?! All of the breakthroughs that have occurred during the past twenty years alone completely blow the rest of human history's breakthroughs out of the water, so to speak, and now that the internet is linking us all together, the great globalization movements, all of these breakthroughs are now rendered available to the common man. Now, how does all this jargon help you to start mixing music?

Well, let's just assume that you have a few songs that you would like to experience at the same time. It could be a mixture of techno and classical music, extremely popular these days, and you just can not wait to get Bach and your homemade techno music together for a little party. Well, if that is the case, then mixing music could be as easy to downloading a software package from a website straight onto your computer! You might say that this process sounds a little too simple for it to be true, but consider the follow story.

After listening to a few albums, my friends and I came up with this idea for a backyard wrestling group. We designed our logo and came up with our characters' names, signature moves (named them), and, after practicing all of our moves on a trampoline in our backyard, started calling some of our friends and invited them over. We recorded the entire event. I was the screenwriter for the events that followed, though I was also the mixing music "expert," as I had yet to gain any experience using such equipment. After researching the internet for a few simple to use mixing music software packages, I ran into a few that, in all honesty, turned our ideas into reality. Now, our little backyard wrestling group is still running like wild in our hometown, even though all of the original members that spearheaded the project have moved on and, for a few of us, moved out of the area entirely.

This was just one small mixing music project that brought us all together. It brought a sense of individuality to our members and, after mixing music for our overall "federation" theme song, brought us all together under one banner. I miss those days, but the mixing music software package has never since left my computer and, as a result of it being simple to use and easy to create albums with, I have yet to stop using it for my personal projects.
