Mizaj ( Temperament) of Akhlat (Humours), asnan(Ages) and Mausam (season)

Mizaj of the organs:

Every species created with its specific Mizaj which is beneficial and suitable for the same. This is the temperament which is known as Mizaje Mo'tadil (Tibbi mu'tadil) for it. For example, a lion has more heat (hot temperament) than other animals so that it may get more anger and may attack easily on his prey (Shikar) for diet. Similarly, a rabbit has been created with cold temperament so that it may get more fear from other animals and easily go away for saving his life. This is nothing but it is only for his benefit and requirements. Same like that different organs of the body have been provided different types of Mizaj as per their functional requirements. For example, there are some organs of Mizaje Mo'tadil e.g. skin. Some organs are of hot temperament. Some are of moist and some others are of dry and the few are of cold temperament. The organs having hot temperament are in descending order; heart, liver, meat (muscles), spleen, kidneys, arteries and vessels. The organs having cold temperament are in decreasing order like hair, bones, cartilages, ligaments, tendons, membranes, spinal cord, brain and fats.

Akhlat and its Temperament:

Akhlat are the things liquid in nature, formed from the diet when it gets metabolised firstly in the liver. All organs of the body are formed from the Akhlat. Akhlat are of 4 types i.e.; blood, phlegm, bile and black bile.

Temperament of Dam (blood) is Har Ratab.

Temperament of Balgham (phlegm) is Barid Ratab.

Temperament of Safra (bile) is Har Yabis.

Temperament of Sauda (black bile) is Barid Yabis.

TEMPERAMENT OF ASNAN (AGES):

Whole life of the human being has been divided into 4 stages i.e. Sinne Numoo, Sinne Shabab, Sinne Kuhoolat and Sinne Shaikhookhat.

Temperament of Sinne Numoo is Har Ratab.

Temperament of Sinne Shabab is Har Yabis.

Temperament of Sinne Kuhoolat is Barid Yabis.

Temperament of Sinne Shaikhookhat is Barid Yabis (extremely).

Temperament of Mausam (seasson):

Mizaj of Mausame Rabi is Mo'tadil.

Mizaj of Mausame Saif is Har Yabis.

Mizaj of Mausame Kharif is Barid Yabis (Yubusat > Burudat).

Mizaj of Mausame Sarma is Barid Ratab (Burudat > Rutubat).

Temperament of Ajnas (sexes):

Temperament of male is Har Ratab.

Temperament of female is Barid Ratab as compared to male.
