For some of you the thought of actively generating MLM leads might be a new one
. However, it is something that, assuming you've "worked your business", You have been doing. Whenever you start a conversation with someone about your business, with the idea of recruiting them into it, you're hoping that it is a viable lead. Here, I want to talk about doing your network marketing lead generation online.
Before we do that we must first talk about why your present system for generating leads isn't working. Not working for you and not working for thousands of other network marketers, as well.
After you join a new MLM program, the first thing you are told is make a list of your friends and family, and don't forget that person you only know as the gas station attendant. This is a traditional lead generation suggestion. We've all heard that, haven't we?

You'd be hard pressed, especially in the United States, to find a person who hasn't been approached multiple time by some MLM opportunity promoter and are tired of it.
Plus, here's some big news, not everyone in this world is interested in having their own network marketing business. Contrary to what your company wants you to believe some people like their job, some people are just lazy, and some people are satisfied with their life.
If those old school MLM lead generating techniques haven't worked for some 97% of the people who've tried them, why should you keep using them? Frankly, You shouldn't!
Simple common sense tells us we should be generating leads using modern techniques. How do we find them? We look to today's leaders in the MLM industry; they are found on the Internet.
Think about the Internet, it runs 24 hours a day every day of the year. A simple, free classified ad can be seen by more people around the world than subscribe to your local newspaper. Used properly the Internet can be an unstoppable MLM lead generating machine.
There are some other benefits to generating MLM leads online: You can easily weed out the so-called "tire kickers" who aren't really interested in your business. You can avoid most of the rejection that face-to-face marketing entails. You can focus your energy on people who truly want to build an MLM business.
You may not believe it, but there are many people on-line who want to join and build an MLM business. There are people on-line who would love to know about your network marketing opportunity. You just need to learn how to find them.
