It is a 2 part indicator.......The main indicator is based on price and volatility...it

calculates prior ranges and gives you future ranges ie: intraday highs and lows (VERY different then pivot points and fibonacci levels!)

The second part will calculate new highs on each tick vs new lows on each tick.... it will tell you exactly when the bar or candlestick for the stock or futures contract you are trading is about to shift and start heading in the opposite direction.....

So one gives you ranges..and the second will confirm the true direction change of the security.

If the stock or futures contract hits the lower range....you will only enter a buy order when the second indicator gives you a signal that the stock or futures is about to make a higher high on a short term basis.
