M-learning and e-learning platforms are now days very helpful for professional skill
developments and business process management for any public and private sector. Comparing to online learning the mobile learning platforms are more appreciable. M-learning courses are easy to implement with the help of own mobile/smart phones and no major requirements inclining learners towards it.
It is almost a million dollar question, literally, for companies offering online training capability e-learning or m-learning. The public opinion is however clear.

In October 1999, during a CBT Systems seminar in Los Angeles, a strange new word was used for the first time in a professional environment e-Learning. Associated with such expressions as 'online learning' or 'virtual learning', this word was meant to qualify "a way to learn based on the use of new technologies allowing access to online, interactive and sometimes personalized training through the Internet or other electronic media (intranet, extranet, interactive TV, CD-Rom, etc.), so as to develop competencies while the process of learning is independent from time and place".

2002 with the entry of Blackberry the race for the best and most user friendly smart phone had begun.
No one could have predicted how the world was to change. It is expected that by 2013 over 33% of the workforce will be mobile/smart phones. People want accessibility any device, anywhere, anytime.
The mindset had changed and that is where e-Learning platforms fell short. The browser capabilities were different and the need for providing information in smaller chunks had become increasingly important.
Advantages of M-learning Training Platforms:
1. Mobile learning platforms have greater flexibility than e-Learning platforms.
2. In short you can access m-Learning on any device, however, this is not always possible with an e-Learning platform.
3. Companies providing e-Learning platforms will make the necessary minor adjustments, however at the cost of overall dexterity.
