But most of the prisoners started using mobile phones to threaten people nearby. - Disclose the loopholes about the prison: The convicts can even pass on the secrets of the jail. This can prove to be dangerous to the police as they can contact people who can prove to be a major threat to the security of the prison. The convicts can reveal significant information regarding the inside of the jail which might release dangerous goons and assailants and scare the society. They can do this by capturing pictures on their mobiles and sending it their associates who are waiting for an opportunity to help the prisoners escape from the prison. - MMS: The convicts can create MMS or video clippings regarding as regards the safety measures within the jail and can mail to different mobiles. This is a dangerous thing as the internal security measures of prisons are quite confidential. Thus, a lot of convicts must follow strict laws in order to prevent the disclosure of the internal safety measures. - Internet connectivity: Majority of the mobile phones have WAP features whereby it is possible to connect to the Internet by just clicking the right buttons. The convicts can contact the entire public and disclose the complete facts of the jail to the whole world. There are various dangers of using internet through mobile and a smart prisoner can do a lot of wrong deeds just by sitting inside the prison, all he needs is a mobile phone with advanced features. Thus, it is exceptionally dangerous to have a mobile phone gift for the prisoners.
