, shot into limelight with her role as the executive producer and hostess of 'Moments with Mo', the first ever syndicated talk show aired daily on African regional television. Although completely inexperienced to the role of hosting a TV show, Mo became an icon within a short span of time of the show's launch, and the same is responsible for changing the image of African TV across the world. Africa is no longer seen as the backward continent that does not have proper infrastructure in most of its countries, thanks to Mo Abudu and this revolutionary show, which focuses on the changing face of the African culture and its people.

Till October 2009, the show had more than 200 episodes aired that threw light on diverse topics like culture, entertainment, lifestyle, health and politics, and featured the who's who belonging to African lineage. A majority of the people from the impressive list of guests of the show have been celebrities, Nobel Laureates, the US Secretary-of-State and Presidents! Besides these, the show also features regular and unknown faces that are doing extraordinary things, thus giving the show a very realistic feel and ensuring that it connects with audience.

In Mo Abudu's own words, the show highlights the life and accomplishments of a usually well known, but sometimes an undiscovered African individual who by his or her own tenacity and determination has accomplished something, overcome something or been a catalyst for something that makes her or him a role model to others.

Thanks to the tremendous growth in the African audience numbers around the world, the show has entered its fourth season, and is as popular as can be. It is aired on M-Net, and has TV coverage in 48 African countries, and also features on Cable and Terrestrial television in other parts of the world.
