In 1964 Mon Abudu first inhaled the air of this earth. She was born in this year in Hammersmith Hospital which is in London. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Akintunde. She was the third child of her parents. When she was only 7 her family relocated to Lagos which is in Nigeria. There she was sent to her grandmother resident of Ondo State. During this phase of her life Mon Abudu came to know about the background and native culture of Africa. Though it was challenging to her yet with the skill of her extreme adaptive power she adopted the culture.
Here in Ondo State she first went to Fiwasaye Girls Grammar School. Then she was only 11 years old. Next year, when she was only12 years old she unfortunately lost her father and came back to UK. Here she first took admission in Hammersmith Country Secondary School and the in Ridgeway School in Kent. She was the student of West Kent College and then mid Kent college. Mon Abudu took her Master degree in HR Management from the University of Westminster. She was also the member of British Psychological Society. Mon Abudu gradually grew up as an ambitious woman who tried in various field to add stars to the graph of her career.
Mon Abudu's professional career started in 1987 as a Recruiting Consultant in Atlas Recruiting Consultancy. Then she got the offer from famous Starform Group to handle the management of the celebrated Corporate Credit Management Exhibition from 1990 to 1992. She got immense success in this challenging task. Then in 1993 she came back to Nigeria and was hunted by Arthur Andersen, designated as the head of Human Resource Management and Training unit of ExxonMobil. By 2000, she resigned from this prestigious post with the ambition to start VLA. She was the successful Managing Director of VLA. Another notable landmark in her career is her successful commissioning of Protea Hotel in Oak Park in 2004.
Apart from this successful business career Mon Abudu is also a loving and caring mother of a 16 years old daughter and a 10 years old son.
