Sarees have quite a high chance of getting stained, especially the lower part, when walking on muddy roads. Salwar Kameez, because of its body-fitting silhouette, does not run the risk of getting spoilt by dirty and messy roads or puddles. Thanks to its convenience and easy to wear and carry off' quality, Salwar Kameez has nevertheless gained much popularity irrespective of any weather. However, it may be noted that Salwar Kameez featuring rather loose or baggy Patiala style Salwar is not exactly the ideal choice for monsoons.
