Members of the travel website VirtualTourist.com have voted the Montpelier Plantation
Inn on the island of Nevis as one of the top 10 converted hotels in the world.
The property offers luxurious St Kitts and Nevis holidays for tourists and the late Princess Diana even enjoyed a break at the Caribbean hotel with her two sons shortly after her separation from Prince Charles.
Located within a 60-acre estate on a hillside on the Caribbean island of Nevis, Montpelier Plantation Inn stands out from other St Kitts and Nevis hotels because it sits on a former 18th-century sugar plantation.
