. Be willing to give up things that don't really matter to you in order to create a feeling of goodwill. For example, if I'm renegotiating my order fulfillment per pick charge, or pack and ship rates downwards, I'll often offer to sign a longer legnth contract. That way, the provider has a commitment for my business for a longer time.
