Although Morocco is a country of Africa, in many ways it is a country apart

. It is more related to the Mediterranean than to the rest of Africa. It is mainly because of the fact that it nestles on the northwestern of Africa and is separated from the rest of the continent by Atlas Mountains and the Sahara itself. Being situated with both Atlantic and Mediterranean coastlines, mountainous interior, it stayed independent for centuries. However, the country have developed a rich culture blended from Arab, Berber, European and African influences. Morocco is an ethnically diverse country with a rich culture and civilization.

If you want to spend a vacation with your family in Morocco then the city of Marrakech is the best place. This city has too much to offer for every one, children, teenagers and adults. You will find many snake charmers in the streets, magicians showing their tricks, a lot of colorful markets and many more. The most interesting and enjoyment days are the days of Muslim festivals; during the festivals you will see the most out of Morocco.

Step into Fez and find yourself in a world where the medieval and the modern exist side by side. Fez el Jdid ("the New") is the modern part of Fez whereas Fez el Bali ("the Old") is one of the world's best-preserved medieval cities. Amidst the sprawling streets, you can find stalls selling intricate handicrafts, leather goods, copper and brassware. Visit the Bou Inania Madersa, a fourteenth century religious college with breathtaking architecture, or the Dar-Batha museum, which features, among other things, an amazing Moroccan ceramic collection. You may also enjoy visiting the Kairaouine mosque, which was previously the largest mosque in Africa. Fez is also famous for its cuisine.

Other interesting places to visit in Casablanca Morocco are the Port of Casablanca, the Catholic Cathedral, the Casablanca Techno Park, the Twin Center, Parc de la Ligue Arabe, Lyce Lyautey, Mohammed V International Airport, and the Casablanca City Hall. Casablanca Port is considered as one of the world's largest artificial and main ports. The Catholic Cathedral became a cultural center in 1930 after it stopped its operation in 1956 as a church. Parc de la Ligue Arabe is one of the largest parks in the city. Beside it is Cathdrale Sacr-Coeur which is an unused Mauresque architecture.


Morocco's capital city, Rabat, may not be as well known as the other imperial cities, but it is rich in history. The city's most famous site is Le Tour Hassan, a tower built during the reign of Almohad ruler Yacoub el Mansour in the late 12th century.

Chefchaouen is a small town built in a big landscape is located in the Rif Mountains and is famous for independent travelers. The best part of the place includes swimming in streams, on the main square you can have a drink, hiking and witness the houses that are painted white with their doors that are brightly painted. Another place that must be seen with your Moroccan vacation is the present capital of the Rabat. It is considered the town of colorful flowers and waving trees and many gateways that monumental which include the Oudaias Kasbah Gate and the Gate of the Ambassadors. You can choice the best cafes and hotels for you to stay in. During summer the beaches and Mamora forest are visitor's popular attraction.
