See the sun rise over the desert on an unforgettable visit to the place where Moses received the 10 Commandments. You'll travel in air-conditioned comfort with your tour guide, who will accompany you up Moses' Mountain and take you on a tour of St. Catherine's Monastery. Pick up from your Hotel in sharm el sheikh by modern air-conditioned van towards Saint Catherine about 220 km away from Sharm El Sheikh. Arrive to the park of the Monastery at 01.00 then you will start to climb the mountain either on foot or by camels (extra cost) for about 07 km holding torch batteries. Reaching the steps (750 steps) then to the Mountain peak, this is about 2200 m above sea level. Waiting for the Sun Rise befor climbing down for breakfast then onto the monastery, built between 527 and 565 A.D. The monastery is believed to have been built around the site of Moses' Burning Bush. During your visit you will visit the chapel of a Greek Orthodox church to see famous icons and the Mosaic of Transfiguration. Finally you will be transferred back to your Hotel in sharm.
