. The most expensive model of the company is the Hyundai Santa Fe, priced at Rs23,46,500 while the least expensive model is the Hyundai EON, which carries a price tag of Rs2,69,999.
Santa Fe
Santa Fe, the most expensive lineup of Hyundai is a mid-size crossover SUV, which has been built on the Hyundai Sonata platform. The SUV has been named after the city of Santa Fe in New Mexico. The SUV bagged several awards including the Import SUV of the Year, 2011, from CNBC TV 18 Overdrive awards 2011, SUV of the Year award from Business Standard Motoring Awards, 2011, SUV of the Year award from Car India Awards 2011 and the Full Size SUV of the Year Award from Car India Awards 2011.
Santa Fe has been positioned between the compact SUV Tucson and the related luxury crossover SUV, Veracruz. The second generation
Santa Fe was the top pick amongst the Top 10 vehicles in the 2008 Consumer Reports magazine. The vehicles were judged on the safety and reliability parameters.

Hyundai EON
The least expensive model in the Hyundai lineup, EON, the cute hatchback, was introduced in India on 13th October 2011 at Gurgaon, at the Kingdom of dreams. The car, currently available only in the petrol version, is priced in the range of Rs2.69 to Rs3.71 lakhs. Spiraling costs of petrol has prompted the Korean car maker to introduce an LPG version of the EON which is expected to be launched in India in mid 2012. The LPG variant is currently undergoing tests at the plant of the company near Chennai.
EON is proving to be tough competition for the Maruti Alto and also the cheapest car in the world, Tata Nano.
EON is powered by an 814 cc engine, delivering maximum power of 56 bhp at 5,500 rpm, which is quite impressive for a small car. The unique digital gear shift indicator helps the car to achieve maximum optimum gear usage and the best fuel efficiency. The car, giving out an amazing mileage of 21.1 kmpl, is currently available in 6 variants. The use of Alternative Management System allows the control of power supply to a battery, depending on the load, reducing fuel consumption. The car comfortably accommodates four adults.
Hyundai EON features power steering and power windows, which work at the touch of a button. The safety features include an ABS and EBD, making it a fuel efficient, inexpensive and safe.
