For an insight into where you are now answer the following Attitude Assessment questions.
We tend to attract people just like us to us on the journey ie on a self esteem level. Who are you attracting? Who populates your inner circle? As a motivational speaker, I have continued to attract teachers, circumstances and events to help me achieve my biggest dreams.
Are you attracting positive, helpful people who will contribute to moving you closer to your goal or prophets of doom who drag you down? This is critical information - an understanding of the people surrounding you can also allow you to delete negative unconstructive advice at source. Also it is important to be aware that as you travel on this journey, you start to alienate the more negative influences. This can be equally positive and painful - both parts of the process. Remember, you will never change anything with the same thinking that created it.
How is your language? Do you find yourself using self-deprecating words like 'should',, can't' 'might' 'but' 'never' 'problem' or uplifting words like 'will' 'can' 'always' 'challenge'? A motivational speaker thinks opportunity, not obstacle.
As Aristotle said "words are a symbol of our mental experience."
What is your biology saying about your autobiography? Do you look happy and healthy or tired and stressed?
What about your results? Are you reaching your goals? (Note: I didn't ask you if are you happy. Why? Consciously we tend to spin things to make everything sound politically correct. The main indicators of your current state of mind are mostly outside your conscious control and dictated by your thinking which is logged in your subconscious.)
