Motorbike Dealers To Attend Show

Motorbike dealers will be among those attending a show later this year dedicated to the mode of transport.

The Footman James Classic Motor Show has expanded its offering to those keen on getting about on two wheels - as well as those who supply services to enthusiasts - and is staging an event focussing on motorcycles.

Taking place from November 12th until the 14th, it will span two halls at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), ensuring there will be plenty of space for those wanting to find out more about the latest industry developments, potentially including those involving motorbike parts.

Commenting on the decision to add the special section to the show, manager Andy Rouse said: "We've increased the presence of classic motorbikes into the show over the past two years and it has been so successful that it has outgrown the space and can now stand as its own event.

"The principle will be the same with amazing displays for the UK's best motorbike clubs, the Pride of Ownership concours competition ... as well as adding some exciting new attractions."

He also revealed that motorbike dealers and others present at the event will be able to catch "thrilling" indoor live action involving both classic and modern trail bikes.

In addition, there will be a number of special guests from the world of motorcycling who will be interviewed on the Classic Motorbike Stage.

Meanwhile, the trader village - which may be of interest to those seeking motorbike parts - has been extended, Mr Rouse noted.

The show is to take place in halls eight and nine of the NEC - which was established in 1976 and attracts around four million people to its events each year.

According to its website, it is the busiest exhibition centre in Europe and stages around 160 trade and consumer exhibitions annually, ranging from occasions such as Crufts to international trade exhibitions like IPEX and Spring Fair.
