October marks the 7th anniversary of start of a successful program where MSRC was

authorized by Quantum Corporation to provide service and support programs for first generation DLT tape products. Initially the End of Life Service and Support Authorization was awarded for DLT 260 and DLT 600 tape drives but within a year of providing exceptional service to this campaign, MSRC was also awarded DLT 2000 and DLT 2000XT tape drives as EOL for North America.

Currently there is still a significant install base for Quantum Corporation customers that needs ongoing repair so MSRC continues to provide top-notch support on the DLT tape drives. The service allows the existing customers to continue using their existing hardware and thus avoid the need to migrate to more expensive equipment and deal with transferring of data to all new media.
